MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca the album that was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo came from a musical household his mother and older brother have been musicians. In his interviews, he's described playing music as an obligation. In his early years, he learned how to play the saxophone, ukulele and piano. The first goal was to be a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
